Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-site teams, ensure top-notch customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety. The role includes training new hires and monitoring cash handling compliance.

Candidates should have cash handling and customer service experience, plus prior leadership; a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policy.
• Operate POS system and process payments in line with policies.
• Ensure proper food handling including labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks: prep, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
