Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams and ensure top-notch customer service. You will manage opening/closing tasks, operate POS, and uphold food safety standards while training new staff.

The role requires cash handling experience, leadership ability, and a friendly, proactive approach to interactions with travelers and coworkers. Flex scheduling and strong compliance with policies are important.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policy.
• Operate POS system and process payments following cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures and temperatures are maintained.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, cooking, packaging, wrapping and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain product knowledge and assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and all company policies.
