Applegreen Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-site teams and ensure high standards of customer service and food safety. You will train new staff, manage cash handling, and uphold brand policies while keeping operations running smoothly across opening, midday, and closing shifts.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment at travel plazas, coordinating with frontline staff to resolve issues, cross-sell products, and maintain product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsabilités

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with customers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per company policies.
• Operate POS system and process payments according to policies.
• Ensure proper food handling including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and all company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems; perform other tasks as assigned.
