Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shift teams, ensure top‑notch customer service, and uphold food safety standards across our travel plazas. You will train new hires, monitor cash handling, and ensure compliance with brand policies and procedures.

The role involves managing opening/closing tasks, using the POS system, and maintaining product quality and safety across food stations.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with customers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists according to company policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling procedures.
• Ensure proper food handling including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Assist in training new team members and maintain knowledge of products and services available.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and all company policies.
