Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations in our travel plaza environment. You will supervise team members, ensure brand standards, and uphold food safety policies while delivering outstanding service to travelers.

The role involves training new staff, managing cash handling, assisting with opening and closing procedures, and maintaining product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments following cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Inform leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
