MFA Petroleum Company is seeking Break Time Shift Leaders in Missouri to assist with store operations, supervision, and customer service. Responsibilities include daily reporting, banking, inventory, and promoting food service and safety.

The role emphasizes teamwork, training, and adherence to policies while maintaining a safe, friendly, and efficient store environment for customers and staff.

• 18 years of age or older
• Friendly, customer service-oriented person who enjoys a fast-paced work environment
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with adequate transportation to/from bank (the vehicle must be locked and secured when transporting the deposit to the bank)
• Flexible availability which may include all shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Works well individually and in leading a team
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change, complete shift reports, and account for numbers of products during vendor check in
• Ability to learn new concepts, use technical materials, and consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
• Ability to perform assigned duties with accuracy and with minimal supervision
• Physical ability to move and position products in the cooler with temperatures as low as 30 degrees for up to one hour, and to move and position products in the freezer with temperatures as low as 0 degrees
• Physical ability to both move and position yourself to move and retrieve products and supplies from shelves, under counters, or stacks of inventory weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to remain in a standing position for up to nine hours per shift
• Ability and willingness to occasionally ascend and descend ladders to handle inventory or products
• Ability to visually observe and inspect items and work environment for regular job responsibilities and safety concerns
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language to communicate accurately and effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
• Ability to meet Company requirements, including successful pre-employment background check and drug test
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Responsabilidades

• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and encouraging the store team to do the same; greet and thank each customer and provide fast and friendly service; support peak hours; handle complaints quickly and courteously; conduct accurate transactions.
• Assist in all aspects of store operation including daily reporting, banking, inventory, bookkeeping, fuel management, and ensuring facility and equipment are well maintained and in good condition; maintain store cleanliness; ensure timely open/close and observation of all scheduled hours; execute food programs including promoting food service and safety.
• Assist in proper execution of marketing programs; merchandise, price, promote, stock, and front/face all merchandise including cooler; promote promotions and sales.
• Supervise assigned shifts in the absence of the manager; help train new employees on policies; provide input for performance evaluations; promote food service and safety.
• Maintain timely and professional communication with customers, vendors, other employees, and management as it relates to store operations.
• Understand store finances; control shortages and expenses; participate in audits; assist in loss control related to cash handling, lottery, food waste, etc.
• Exhibit professionalism; assist in recruiting, training, and developing the store team; adhere to regulations.
• Utilize store technology including POS systems, desktops, laptops, and handhelds; perform math to make change, complete shift reports, and count product.
• All MFA Oil employees are expected to know and adhere to company policies; may perform other duties as assigned.

Educación

High school diploma or GED

Prior management/leadership experience

Experience in retail sales
