Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company, operating Break Time convenience stores, seeks energetic Sales Associates to deliver fast, friendly service and accurate transactions. You’ll merchandise, maintain clean displays, assist with food preparation, and follow all policies to ensure safe, efficient operations during shifts.

The role emphasizes teamwork, training support, and proper use of POS systems while upholding food safety and store standards. Missouri locations welcome flexible, weekend-enabled schedules.

Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Friendly, customer-focused individual in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to perform basic math and reconcile transactions.
• Willingness to complete Food Handler's Card and training.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• English literacy for communication with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide fast, courteous service while handling transactions accurately.
• Perform merchandising tasks, price items, promote sales, and keep shelves stocked and clean.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
• Work as part of a team to meet store goals while following regulations.
• Operate store technology, process payments, and balance cash when required.
• Assist with training and loss-control measures, including checks on cash and inventory.
• Prepare food items per recipes and maintain food safety standards and temperatures.
• Keep work areas clean, sanitized, and organized; ensure proper product display and storage.
