Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company, operating Break Time convenience stores in Missouri, is seeking a Break Time Shift Leader to assist with store operations, supervision, and daily paperwork. You will engage customers, support peak hours, and help manage finances and inventory.

The role emphasizes teamwork, food service safety, and training new staff while maintaining store standards and compliance across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Friendly, customer service-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance for bank deposits.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends/holidays.
• Able to learn concepts, use tech and operate a computer.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers.
• Assist in daily store operations: reporting, banking, inventory, bookkeeping, fuel management.
• Support merchandising and marketing programs; keep merchandise stocked and presentable.
• Supervise shifts in manager’s absence and train new staff.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Help manage finances, cash handling, audits, and controllable expenses.
• Work as part of a team and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Operate POS and other store tech; perform shift reports.
