Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Old Bridge, NJ is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain brand standards across food service and cash handling. You will train new team members, manage opening/closing procedures, and help ensure compliance with food safety rules while delivering a friendly traveler experience.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Open, daily, and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and handle payments following policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, cooking, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain product knowledge and assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and all policies.
