Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Saddle River, NJ is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shift teams, ensure top-tier customer service, and uphold brand and food safety standards. You will train new hires and monitor cash handling procedures to maintain efficiency and compliance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage daily operations in a fast-paced travel plaza environment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments following policies.
• Ensure proper food handling including labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and policies; report concerns to leadership.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
