Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure top-notch customer service, and ensure team adherence to brand standards and food safety. You will help train new team members and monitor cash handling procedures.

The role requires strong cash handling and customer service experience, with prior supervision or leadership exposure. This is an on-site position at our NJ locations, with flexible scheduling options.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures.
• Operate POS system and handle payments following cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and temperature checks.
• Assist in kitchen tasks such as prep, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
