Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist in Minnesota to support the Store Manager and enhance customer service across the store. The role includes shift management in the absence of the Store Manager and ensuring smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate will lead team members, oversee service programs, manage transactions, and handle tasks from ordering to security, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to provide excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Oversee showroom customer service including program executions (Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Answer phones according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers timely; notify customers on shipments.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure; use electronic ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds using correct methods; stage returns appropriately.
• Ensure merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure staffing adherence to schedule; clock in/out per policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties; manage money/deposits and bank deposits; secure premises.
• All other duties as assigned.
