Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and may assist with shift management in absence of leadership.

Responsibilities include leading the team to deliver excellent service to retail and professional customers, handling orders, returns, invoicing, and ensuring compliance with store policies.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure policy adherence for phone, orders, and transfers.
• Process returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately and efficiently.
• Invoicing of merchandise, core charges, and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Oversee opening/closing duties, cash handling, and security procedures.
• Ensure adherence to work schedules and clock-in/out policies, with shift coverage as needed.
