Job summary

Seaboard Triumph Foods seeks a Production Supervisor to lead production staff on the assigned shift, ensuring adherence to timing, quality, and cost standards. The role emphasizes supervision of semi-skilled and skilled operations, quality assurance and problem solving, with direct oversight of machine setup and maintenance.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, with 2 years pork industry exposure preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise production employees on the assigned shift to meet timing, quality, and cost standards.
• Direct routine maintenance and setup of machines, equipment, and facilities.
• Train employees on safe operating procedures, lock-out/tag-out, and performance appraisal.
• Maintain product quality and safety; ensure adherence to HACCP and USDA standards.
• Monitor workflow and suggest process changes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime and costs.
• Direct shift scheduling, trainings, vacations, overtime, and back-up coverage.
• Review time and attendance for payroll.
• Lead monthly line meetings and address daily questions on the floor.
