Job summary

Seaboard Foods is seeking a Sow Farm Supervisor to oversee day-to-day farm operations, train staff, and ensure production targets are achieved. You will supervise employees, manage schedules, and maintain accurate personnel records while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, audits, and timely reporting on production metrics, with focus on sow care and maintenance orders to support farm performance.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in the English language, reading and writing.
• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years related experience and/or training; or 2 to 5 years of Swine Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Training of employees on day-to-day processes and procedures and developing a competent workforce through hands-on training.
• Creating and managing employee work schedules and maintaining personnel paperwork, including evaluations and feedback.
• Performing audits of the farm to ensure SOPs are followed and facilities are in good condition.
• Ensuring daily and weekly production targets are met and submitting production analysis reports on time.
• The care and conditioning of sows on the farm.
• Submitting orders for farm supplies and maintenance needs.
