Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a Production Supervisor to plan, direct, and coordinate activities on the plant floor for year-round production and seasonal processing. The role requires working knowledge of HACCP, GFSI, and safety and quality systems.

You will study production schedules, estimate staffing, develop plans, and drive improvements in methods, yield, and inventory while enforcing safety and company policies. Experience leading production lines and SAP knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience leading production lines.
• HS Diploma or equivalent; preferred AA degree or certificate.
• Experience in seafood/manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, coordinates, and controls activities of workers in production.
• Estimates staffing and inventory requirements with Production Manager.
• Develops a process plan including people, resources, and equipment.
• Ensures adherence to HACCP, GFSI and safety/quality systems.
• Coordinates manpower needs and overtime to meet schedules.
• Drives improvements in production methods, yield, and inventory.
• Maintains records and enforces company safety policies.
• Responds to grievances and supports supervisor-led teams.
