Job summary

Seaboard Triumph Foods in Sioux City is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to direct and coordinate maintenance activities ensuring safe production standards. You will plan, lead, direct and assign work while training employees and evaluating performance to maintain high employee relations.

Responsibilities include organizing shifts, maintaining preventive programs, and ensuring compliance with SSOP, GMP, OSHA and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or 2+ years related pork/beef maintenance experience.
• Well-developed management skills with team leadership experience.
• Ability to ensure safety, GMP, SSOP adherence and quality standards.
• Experience with electrical systems, PLCs, welding and fabrication.
• Bilingual Spanish is optional; strong communication abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise work activities before shift in line with policies.
• Maintain SSOP, GMP and federal safety compliance in maintenance work.
• Plan and organize shifts for timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Organize training activities for subordinates and supervise staff performance.
• Foster collaboration with departments and coordinate internal processes.
• Follow OSHA rules and maintain safe, healthy work environment.
• Develop preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of hours, vacations, and absences and take corrective action.
• Interview, hire, train staff and manage performance and counseling.
