Shift Operations Lead: Process & Team Coach

Job summary

Gopuff is seeking a Process Lead to oversee our Operations teams, driving order accuracy and fast delivery. You will coach the Pack, Receive and Kitchen teams, ensure high customer experience, and lead shift activities to keep operations efficient.

You will manage real-time issues with Site Leadership, mentor associates, and help meet performance objectives while supporting weekend and late hours shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of internal Gopuff experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in improving processes and efficiencies.
• ServeSafe Certification highly preferred.
• Ability to work with fluid schedules; 5pm - 3am; weekends as needed.
• Spanish language fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pack orders and receive inbound inventory during low vol / min staffed periods.
• Complete ICQA in low vol / min staffed periods.
• Support the associate team in coverage gaps, using carts, pallets, dollies and other equipment.
• Quarterback and direct all associate activities during the shift.
• Escalate site issues to Site Leadership, Regional Leadership, and Live Monitoring.
• Ensure completion of close/open checklists for OA team.
• Oversee execution of all facility operations and delivery processes for your shift.
• Develop and train new associates within site and kitchen.
• Manual intervention of driver routing & dispatching.
• Shelf move activities for reorganization & backstock.
• Conduct audits, onboarding, food safety and cleanliness initiatives.
• Assist in meeting performance objectives and bottlenecks.
