Job summary

Shake Shack Enterprises, LLC is seeking a shift leader to manage service flow and guide a team of hourly Team Members. You will help maintain safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed while supporting operational tasks like purchasing and inventory.

You’ll participate in interviews and employee relations as part of leading a high-performing team. Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of leadership in a restaurant, a Food Safety Certification, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
