Job summary

Shake Shack is hiring a shift supervisor to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You will direct daily operations to ensure safety, cleanliness, quality, and speedy service while mentoring hourly Team Members and supporting inventory and purchasing activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
