Job summary

Shake Shack in Dedham, MA is seeking a shift supervisor to manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift, ensuring safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed. You will help build and lead a high performing team of hourly Team Members and may assist with purchasing, receiving and inventory tasks.

The role requires at least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience, a local Food Safety Certification, and strong problem solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
