Job summary

Marco’s Pizza in Cleveland is looking for a Shift Manager to oversee daily store operations, lead team members, and ensure an exceptional guest experience on assigned shifts. You will participate in food preparation, supervise tasks, and uphold food safety and workplace standards.

You’ll coach staff, open/close shifts, manage cash, and coordinate deliveries while maintaining a clean, efficient environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and delivering great guest experiences daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required food handler certifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and computer skills for cash handling and reporting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support store crew across all workstations during shifts, leading and training employees.
• Open and close the store, manage breaks and shift changes.
• Perform crew tasks as needed, including makeline, oven monitoring, packaging, and guest service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Monitor product quality and take corrective action when needed.
• Coordinate with Drivers and the Manager to ensure deliveries.
• Manage cash handling procedures and balance registers accurately.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance.
• Assist with training new team members and setting clear expectations.
• Handle shift-related issues with professionalism and strong problem-solving skills.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure smooth operations.
