Job summary

AES Restaurants is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee restaurant operations and guide team members during assigned shifts, ensuring outstanding service and guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for directing operations in the absence of management and maintaining cash, inventory controls, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• ServSafe certification or capable of obtaining certification.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders for general maintenance.
• Ability to perform bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, reaching.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations during shifts and ensure outstanding service and guest satisfaction.
• Direct and train team members; coach as needed.
• Utilize AES systems to run restaurant on all shifts; implement cash and inventory controls.
• Set and achieve restaurant goals for service, operations and financial results.
• Maintain compliance with government regulations, employment law, food safety and policies.
