Funky Chicken llc dba Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Ellijay, GA is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager. You’ll lead the team, ensure high food quality, deliver fast, friendly service, and drive performance.

This role includes training new hires, managing logs and paperwork, handling guest questions, monitoring food safety, inventory, and assisting with opening, mid-day and closing shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or customer service is a plus but not required.
• Basic math skills needed for handling cash transactions.

Responsibilities

• Fostering a positive environment to boost store morale.
• Lead by example and manage the team.
• Provide training for new hires and ongoing development of Team Members.
• Complete logs and paperwork.
• Deliver prompt, friendly customer service incl. taking orders and processing payments, upsell when appropriate.
• Ensure food quality and temperature is safe to serve.
• Check equipment for temperature and proper functioning.
• Handle returns, refunds, and customer complaints as needed.
• Prepare and package items according to recipes, portions, and presentation standards.
• Follow safety, food handling, and sanitation standards.
