Job summary

Subway Team in the United States is seeking a Shift Manager to focus on guest experience, food preparation and service, and keeping the restaurant clean and functional. You will also be responsible for inventory, staff scheduling and teamwork.

Daily duties include cascading training to Sandwich Artists on existing and new responsibilities, supervising staff, enforcing inventory control standards, ensuring equipment operates properly, and completing paperwork as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication and organizational skills

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
