Job summary

Subway is seeking a Shift Manager in Colorado to focus on guest experience, ensuring great food is prepared and served, and keeping the restaurant clean and functional. You will control inventory, schedule and supervise staff, and be a team player.

In addition, you will cascade training to Sandwich Artists, schedule and supervise, practice inventory control standards, ensure equipment is in good working order, and complete paperwork as needed. Full-time/Part-time roles vary by location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Shift Manager will focus on six main things:

In addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist®, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and new responsibilities


• Scheduling and supervising staff


• Practicing inventory control standards


• Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift


• Completing paperwork as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication and organizational skills

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
