Job summary

Subway is looking for a dedicated Shift Manager in Brownsburg, Indiana. You will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional guest experience, preparing food, and supervising staff in a clean and functional restaurant.

The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma and have at least one year of experience in a restaurant environment. You’ll conduct training and ensure equipment functionality during shifts. Various shift positions are available, part-time and full-time.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.
• Ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to bend, stand, and walk the entire workday.

Shift Manager Responsibilities

As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Shift Manager will focus on six main things:

• Providing an excellent guest experience
• Ensuring that great food is prepared & served
• Keeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautiful
• Controlling inventory
• Scheduling and supervising staff
• Being a team player

In addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist®, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and new responsibilities
• Scheduling and supervising staff
• Practicing inventory control standards
• Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift
• Completing paperwork as needed

Prerequisites

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Essential Functions
