Job summary

Fiesta Restaurant Group is seeking a Team Leader in Training (TLIT) to gain hands-on experience supporting shift leadership across restaurant operations. You will help with food safety, guest service, scheduling, coaching hourly team members, and daily huddles, while learning to lead teams and handle basic administrative tasks.

Ideal candidates have 6 months in a restaurant or team-support role and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months in restaurant or team-support role preferred.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proactive learner with leadership aspirations.

Responsibilities

• Learn to supervise hourly team members during shifts to ensure quality and service.
• Assist in planning shift coverage and learn safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
• Support team engagement through coaching and communication.
• Participate in pre‑shift huddles to align goals and standards.
• Model guest-service excellence and resolve guest concerns promptly.
• Support compliance, cleanliness, and basic equipment upkeep.
• Help with scheduling, inventory checks, and cash handling basics.
• Shadow leadership during training and onboarding activities.
