Job summary

MOD SUPER FAST PIZZA, LLC. is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Brenham, TX to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and train new hires, programs, and standards.

You will guide the squad to deliver consistent MOD experiences, ensure safety, and drive smooth daily operations. Responsibilities include deploying staff, coaching peers, managing cash, inventory, and safety, and collaborating with management to meet goals.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Must have demonstrated success as a mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Have a proven ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Proven success in following and enforcing processes and standards; correcting and coaching in a compassionate manner.
• Have the ability to be a calming presence in periods of high volume.
• You must obtain a food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of your start date or sooner where required by law.
• You should be proficient in written and oral communication.
• Have the ability to support restaurant hours working a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week. This will include peak demand hours as determined by General Manager or District Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift by ensuring the right squad member is in the right place and doing the right work to support guests (deployment).
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support the team through new program rollouts and initiatives.
• Ensure operating systems and equipment are maintained to meet restaurant goals (online ordering, catering, fundraising, review systems).
• Ensure food safety practices using MOD tools and standards in Back of House and Front of House.
• Listen, acknowledge, and resolve squad member and guest concerns; escalate to AM or GM as needed.
• Manage cash within the shift including making change and refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Follow shift checklists and use tools to meet requirements on time.
• Stay updated via email from Slice and other sources for squad effectiveness.
