Job summary

Royal Farms is seeking a part-time Shift Leader to oversee store operations during their shift, acting as the Person in Charge in the absence of a more senior manager. You will guide customer service, food/beverage execution, and daily store tasks to ensure safety, sales, and compliance.

You will coach team members, manage shift duties, and uphold Royal Farms standards in a fast-paced retail environment. The role requires strong leadership, reliability, and a focus on operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong supervisory and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
• Ability to encourage, inspire, and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and coaching to front-line staff.
• Oversee shift operations as Person in Charge when needed, including POS transactions and cash controls.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and store policies.
• Execute food and beverage programs, maintain quality, cleanliness and speed of service.
• Maintain store appearance and equipment, report maintenance issues promptly.
• Lead and motivate team, manage tasks with attention to detail.
