Job summary

Royal Farms is seeking a part-time Shift Leader to oversee store operations during on-duty hours, acting as the Person in Charge in the absence of a senior manager. You will support customer service, product availability, food service execution, safety, shift management, and vendor relations to maximize sales and ensure store standards.

You will lead, coach, and develop team members while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must possess strong supervisory and organizational skills.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to encourage, inspire, and develop team members.
Minimum of 1 year of food service or retail management experience.
Current ANSI-approved Food Safety Manager Certification.
Basic business math, accounting, computer, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee full shift operations as the Person in Charge when a more senior leader is not present.
Coach and support team members in delivering friendly, knowledgeable service.
Ensure customer service standards, product availability, and store conditions.
Perform POS transactions, vendor check-ins, and cash-control duties.
Maintain safety, security, and compliance with policies and procedures.
Drive food service program execution, quality, and store cleanliness.
