Job summary

Royal Farms is seeking a part-time Shift Leader to oversee store operations, coach staff, and ensure excellent customer service. This role acts as the Person in Charge when a senior manager is absent and supports management in safety, foodservice execution, and vendor care.

Responsibilities include supervising shift duties, handling POS and cash controls, and maintaining store standards. Minimum 1 year in food service/retail management plus a Food Safety Certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must possess strong supervisory and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to encourage, inspire, and develop team members.
• Minimum of 1 year of food service or retail management experience.
• ANSI-approved Food Safety Manager Certification.
• Basic business math, accounting, computer, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and coaching to team.
• Oversee shift operations as Person in Charge when needed.
• Manage POS transactions and cash controls.
• Ensure 24/7 execution of food/beverage programs and maintain quality.
• Maintain store appearance and safety standards.
• Uphold company mission and standards; complete assigned tasks.
• Supervise store employees in the absence of a senior leader.
