Job summary

Thorntons LLC is seeking a Shift Leader to maintain safety, oversee GSR duties, and manage shift reconciliation, inventory, and vendor check-ins. The role includes training teammates in standard practices and food safety, while supporting store leadership with coaching and task prioritization across multiple shifts.

The Shift Leader will drive guest service, enforce policies, and help sustain Thorntons’ food program, ensuring a respectful environment and timely completion of assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Must be able to supervise on-shift operations
• Provide coaching and training to team members
• Adhere to all safety and food handling standards

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-shift leader when Store/General Manager is absent
• Deliver guest service with a helpful attitude
• Practice safe working habits and report safety issues
• Follow cash handling procedures and document discrepancies
• Keep store areas stocked and presentable
