Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, customer service, appearance, and operations. This role may take on shift management in the absence of the Store Manager.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include leading team members to deliver exceptional customer service, managing store processes, handling orders, returns, and invoicing, and assisting with opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• ASE Certification and automotive knowledge desirable.
• Spanish language skills highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and execute service programs.
• Answer phone calls in accordance with company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and correctly.
• Manage returns, exchanges, refunds, and staging of merchandise.
• Ensure invoicing of merchandise, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff follows posted schedules and clocks in/out properly.
• Perform opening/closing duties and secure deposits and building at night.
