Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role also carries shift management responsibilities when leadership is absent.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required for customer interactions.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification is required or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds correctly, and stage returned merchandise.
• Invoice merchandise before it leaves the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform all store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, deposits, security checks, and vehicle security.
• All other duties as assigned.
