Job summary

Panini Kabob Grill in Escondido, CA is seeking a Shift Leader/Restaurant Manager/Assistant GM to help run daily operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This full-time role involves leading shifts, coaching staff, solving problems on the floor, and upholding high standards for food, hospitality, and efficiency.

You will manage front-of-house and back-of-house activities, oversee staffing and scheduling, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and timely service while driving guest

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in a leadership role at a full-service restaurant.
• Strong leadership skills and a track record of success.
• Clear and confident communication skills.
• Dependable, motivated, and hands-on.
• Ability to work 10+ hour shifts, on your feet, and lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-of-house (FOH) operations on opening, mid, or closing shifts.
• Oversee back-of-house (BOH) operations to ensure prep levels, food safety, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Supervise, coach, and develop FOH staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Ensure restaurant ambiance, cleanliness, safety, and pace meet company standards.
• Handle guest concerns quickly and professionally.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and departmental goals.
• Maintain smooth operations while solving any problems or emergencies that arise.
