Job summary

Panini Kabob Grill in Glendale, CA is seeking a Shift Leader/Restaurant Manager/Assistant GM to drive service excellence and guest satisfaction. You will guide the flow of service, coach the team, and maintain our high standards for food, hospitality, and efficiency.

In this role you’ll run shifts, lead people, and make decisions that directly impact the guest experience and the restaurant's success, with opportunities for growth and employee meal benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in a leadership role at a full-service restaurant.
• Strong leadership skills and a track record of success.
• Clear and confident communication skills.
• Dependable, motivated, and hands-on.
• Ability to work 10+ hour shifts, on your feet, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-of-house (FOH) operations on opening, mid, or closing shifts.
• Oversee back-of-house (BOH) operations to ensure prep levels, food safety, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Supervise, coach, and develop FOH staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Ensure restaurant ambiance, cleanliness, safety, and pace meet company standards.
• Handle guest concerns quickly and professionally.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and departmental goals.
• Maintain smooth operations while solving any problems or emergencies that arise.
