Panini Kabob Grill in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a Shift Leader/Restaurant Manager/Assistant GM to help run busy shifts, coach the team, and uphold our high standards for hospitality and food safety. You’ll guide guest experiences and drive smooth operations.

You’ll lead FOH and BOH, manage staffing and scheduling, handle guest concerns, and support continuous improvement. This full-time role offers career growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in a leadership role at a full-service restaurant.
• Strong leadership skills and a track record of success.
• Clear and confident communication skills.
• Dependable, motivated, and hands-on.
• Ability to work 10+ hour shifts, on your feet, and lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-of-house (FOH) operations on opening, mid, or closing shifts.
• Oversee back-of-house (BOH) operations to ensure prep levels, food safety, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Supervise, coach, and develop FOH staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Ensure restaurant ambiance, cleanliness, safety, and pace meet company standards.
• Handle guest concerns quickly and professionally.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and departmental goals.
• Maintain smooth operations while solving any problems or emergencies that arise.
