Job summary

Campero USA Corp. is seeking a Shift Manager in Tampa, FL to lead the crew, train staff, and coordinate end-to-end operations for an exceptional Customer Experience. You will plan shifts, ensure procedures are followed, and assist the General Manager while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1+ year in similar roles or customer experience, and are fluent in English and Spanish. Food Handlers or ServSafe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of experience in similar roles or with customer experience.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Able to lift and push 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Food Handlers Card/ ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan duties and responsibilities for each shift.
• Verify compliance of procedures and protocols.
• Attend and resolve problems as they appear in restaurant operations.
• Assist the General Manager.
• Coach and lead a team with minimal supervision.
• Involve in operational and technical training of employees.
• Maintain a positive atmosphere of teamwork and energy.
• Verify customer satisfaction and handle complaints.
• Apply continuous improvement mindset to processes and procedures.
• Open/close restaurant.
• Assist with inventory logging.
• Assist with staffing needs.
• Help with controllables and labor.
• Maintain sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food prep areas, cooking services, and dishware.
