Job summary

Marco’s Pizza is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily store operations, coach team members, and ensure exceptional guest experiences on assigned shifts. You will participate in food preparation, uphold food safety, and manage cash handling and workplace standards.

You will lead, train, and develop crew members, balance priorities in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively with guests to maintain Marco’s quality and service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required food handler certifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and computer skills for cash handling and reporting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support crew across all stations during shifts.
• Lead and train employees; open/close the store.
• Ensure food preparation is complete and safe.
• Manage employee breaks and shift changes.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized store environment.
• Coordinate with drivers and manager for deliveries.
• Handle cash and balance registers accurately.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Provide coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Assist with training new team members and setting expectations.
• Handle shift-related issues with professionalism and problem-solving.
• Communicate effectively with team and guests.
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining guest satisfaction.
