Job summary

Papa John’s International is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and restaurant operations, ensuring high quality products and customer service while driving profitability.

You will manage station duties, uphold company policies, train team members, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards, while supporting scheduling, inventory controls, and cost management. This role requires flexibility, reliability and a willingness to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Successful and stable employment history.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), scheduled or unscheduled, including nights, weekends, and emergencies.
• Ability to perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guidelines, techniques and expectations for each station including dough management, accuracy and proper portioning.
• Contributes to achieving the Company’s product goal and meets customer needs while following policies.
• Exemplifies core values and maintains a positive, adaptable attitude.
• Ensures adequate shift coverage and provides feedback to correct problems; maintains quality, service and cost controls.
• Contributes to profit goals by using the FOCUS System and assisting with inventory and cash management.
