Job summary

Papa John’s is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and work areas, ensuring high quality products and customer service, and restaurant profitability. You will help manage operations, enforcing company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

You will lead prep and station duties, monitor inventory, assist in cash management, and ensure shift coverage. Strong planning, communication, and the ability to work nights and weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work long hours (32+ hours) including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guidelines for each station including dough management and portioning.
• Performs shift duties such as making quality products and ensuring customer service.
• Maintains product quality, customer service, and performance standards (e.g., MCE readiness, costs, cleanliness).
• Contributes to profit goals by staying within company guidelines and using the FOCUS System for cash management.
• Assist in managing inventory levels to minimize loss.
