Job summary

Papa John’s in Nebraska is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and areas in our restaurant, ensuring high-quality products and outstanding customer service while supporting profitability.

You’ll manage operations, ensure policy adherence, schedule coverage, control costs with our systems, and lead by example with a positive, flexible attitude. Must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, Serv-Safe certification preferred, and prior shift-lead experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Successful and stable employment history.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights, weekends, and emergencies arise.
• Ability to successfully perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guidelines, techniques and expectations for each station including, but not limited to, dough management, accuracy and proper portioning. Performs assigned work station duties such as making quality products, follows all product preparations procedures and maintains established product holding times.
• Contributes to achieving the Company’s product goal and meets the needs and expectations of the restaurant’s customers, while following TM handbook policies.
• Exemplifies core values, maintains a positive attitude, works well with others and is flexible and adaptable to change.
• Ensures adequate shift coverage for restaurant, provides immediate feedback and corrects problems when identified, maintains product quality and performance within standards.
• Contribute to profit goals by ensuring costs stay within company guidelines by accurately utilizing the FOCUS System and assisting in inventory control.
