Job summary

Papa John’s Shift Leader oversees shifts and work areas to ensure high quality products and customer service while driving restaurant profitability.

Responsibilities include enforcing policies, scheduling, and maintaining standards across stations, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and timely food preparation. Must meet age, certification, and experience requirements; long hours, nights and weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Successful and stable employment history.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), including nights and weekends.
• Ability to successfully perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guidelines for each station and maintains product quality and procedures.
• Contributes to achieving product goals and customer satisfaction.

• Ensures adequate shift coverage and maintains restaurant standards.

Education

High School diploma or GED

Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification

Previous restaurant shift lead experience
