Job summary

Papa John’s is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and areas of the restaurant, ensuring high quality products and customer service while driving profitability. You will enforce company policies, procedures, and systems and ensure compliance with laws and ethical practices.

The role supports shift coverage, cash handling, inventory management, and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
Successful and stable employment history.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), nights, weekends, and emergencies.
Ability to perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

Adheres to guidelines and station expectations (dough management, accuracy, portioning).
Makes quality products and follows product procedures; monitors holding times.
Contributes to achieving product goals and meets customer needs; handles policies and procedures.
Ensures adequate shift coverage and provides feedback to correct issues.
Maintains product quality, customer service, and costs, keeping within standards.
Manages inventory and cash using company systems to minimize loss.
