Job summary

Papa John’s is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and work areas, ensuring high quality products and customer service to support restaurant profitability. You will execute company policies and ensure compliance with laws and ethical business practices, while managing shift coverage and costs.

The role requires 18+ years, long hours, and flexibility including nights and weekends. Previous shift lead experience is preferred, with Serv-Safe certification a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Successful and stable employment history.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise.
• Ability to successfully perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to station guidelines including dough management, accuracy and proper portioning.
• Contributes to achieving the Company’s product goals and meets customer needs, following TM handbook policies.
• Exhibits core values, maintains a positive attitude and flexibility.
• Ensures adequate shift coverage and maintains product quality, service and costs.
• Assist in managing inventory levels and cash processes to minimize loss and support profitability.
