Job summary

WKS Restaurant Group is seeking a Shift Leader for El Pollo Loco to manage a designated shift, help achieve sales and profit goals, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will follow company procedures for food safety, sanitation, and operations, and assist with training and scheduling.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will open/close the restaurant, manage orders with vendors, and address customer concerns. A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and adherence to policies is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.
• Must possess basic computer and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages an assigned shift, contributing to sales and profit goals and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Ensures menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented according to procedures and standards.
• Enforces QSC standards and cost controls through effective shift management.
• Ensures compliance with health, sanitation, work hours, age restrictions, and safety regulations.
• Trains and develops employees; assists General Manager with development plans and scheduling.
