Job summary

El Pollo Loco is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring exceptional service and smooth execution of tasks. You’ll manage opening/closing, inventory, and cash handling while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will train team members on new products, monitor service levels, and lead by example to create a positive guest experience and drive performance. This role offers growth within our restaurant team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be certified on all EPL SPECS positions or have 1+ year of restaurant supervisory experience and pass EPL Food Safety Audit after hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts and in absence of managers.
• Manage opening/closing procedures, inventory accuracy, and cash handling.
• Maintain QSC standards and health/safety compliance.
• Train and support team on new products and procedures.
• Greet customers and ensure exceptional service during shifts.
