Job summary

ZippyApp - Recruitment Marketing in Bradenton, FL seeks a Shift Leader to direct daily store operations in the absence of management. You will open/close the store, supervise team members, protect assets, and ensure safe, high-quality customer service.

You will oversee front-end tasks, cash handling, customer exchanges, inventory, and store sanitation, while supporting the Store Manager with training and performance coaching.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Comprehensive product knowledge and the ability to train other team members.
• Previous training / supervisory experience a plus.
• Proficiency in basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
• Language proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.
• Must be dependable and flexible.
• Ability to travel to multiple work locations.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Must adhere to uniform dress code.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store according to established procedures.
• Directs and monitors the day-to-day activities of full time/part time store team members.
• Communicates with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Resolves customer complaints, including exchanges and refunds.
• Documents complaints and takes follow-up steps to correct the source of the complaint.
• Performs cashier duties when necessary.
• Escalates employee issues to Store Manager or District Manager.
• Responds to vendors and handles deliveries.
• Stocks within all departments.
• Ensures health and safety compliance.
• Maintains sanitation and sweep logs.
• Participates in interviewing processes but does not hire.
