Job summary

ZippyApp - Recruitment Marketing is seeking a Shift Leader to direct daily store activities in the absence of managers, open/close the store, and ensure excellent customer service. You will supervise team members, handle cash procedures, and maintain health, safety, and sanitation programs across store operations.

Qualifications include 18+ years old, a high school diploma, strong English communication, and basic math.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store according to established procedures.
• Direct and monitor day-to-day activities of full-time/part-time store team members.
• Communicate with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Resolve customer complaints, including exchanges and refunds.
• Document complaints and take follow-up steps to correct the source of the complaint.
• Conduct front end administrative procedures (cash handling, till prep, cash drops, etc.).
• Complete electronic store reports and conduct bag/video checks.
• Perform cashier duties when necessary.
• Escalate employee issues to Store Manager or District Manager.
• Respond to vendors and deliveries.
• Stock within all departments.
• Ensure health and safety compliance.
• Handle emergency management procedures.
• Protect store property, funds, and merchandise.
• Follow loss prevention procedures daily.
• Ensure store sanitation and complete sweep logs.
• Serve as first contact for media and regulatory visitors.
• May participate in panel interviewing, no hiring authority.
• Perform other duties including cross-department work.
